Smallholder farmers struggle with poor productivity, lack of access to inputs and technology, food loss and spoilage, and limited access to markets. At the same time, nearly two billion people suffer from malnutrition and food security is threatened by the changing climate. How can we build food and agriculture systems that nourish the world, while improving the lives of smallholder farmers? Farmeasy is the solution to the underlying question. With one Farmer at a time, Farmeasy is opening up the space for agricultural participation by allowing the public to easily fund a farm with a promise to deliver profitable returns to them while also empowering farmers at the same time. Therefore, we are inviting the public to join us in our journey to empower rural farmers and build an Africa that feed itself.

The SIP provides an investment platform where students of Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria and Africa are able to own farms for profit while still in school, consequently contributing to the Nigerian Agricultural Revolution.

This initiative would push the movement for the incorporation of young educated Nigerians and Africans in our Agricultural value chain, while also providing them with the opportunity to build an investment culture while still in school.

Male and female Undergraduate or Postgraduate students of Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Educations, Institutes and other equivalent outfits within Nigeria and Africa.

Students should include the regular features of the general customer account creation, as well as the following:.

1. Registration number
2. Course of study
3. Institution
4. Level of Study
5. Social media handle (Facebook and Instagram)

Sign up on our website to create your own profile, you then select a farm of choice to fund. You fund the farm, and at the end of the farm cycle stipulated, you will receive a percentage of the profit after the sales of harvest and also your initial funding capital..

The steps involved in this process are really simple. All you need to do is:

• Register an account
• Fund a farm
• Get funding updates
• Get Return of Investment.

First you will receive an email which acknowledges receipt of your funding, the location of the farm you sponsored, the farm cycle tenure and the end date of your farm cycle. On a periodic basis, you will receive farm updates which keeps you abreast of all activities on your farm, from the beginning to the end of the farm cycle.

Click on the farm you want to fund, select the number of farm units you want fund and click on "Pay". You will be directed to another page to "check out" your order and to agree to the terms and conditions stated. After that select payment and you will be required to complete the transaction with your ATM Card or you may chose the bank transfer option which would require you to use your bank token to complete the transaction.

We recieve payments in two(2) ways one of which is Bank Payment, you can either choose to make a bank transfer to our account stated on the payment option or make a bank payment. The second way is an online payment with Paystack one of the best way to transfer funds securely and effectively. This secure platform ensures timely payments and a secure environment.

Our standard payment plan provides payments after your farm funding cycle has completed. At the end of each cycle, all funds are transfered to your account.
